Pramod Muthalik : blackened face

Leader of Sri Rama Sene Pramod Muthalik face was blackened by youths in Bangalore on 11 February. The face of Pramod Muthalik was blackened because of his opposition to Valentine's Day celebrations. Like the previous year, Muthalik was planning to marry off the people celebrating Valentine's Day on 14 February.


Pramod Muthalik was participating in a discussion organised by a Kannada TV channel on his outfit's opposition to Valentine's Day celebrations. Later, after discussion group of six people caught him painted his face black. Muthalik called these men as "goondas" and shouted for their punishment.
However, the Rama Sene has little support in Karnataka. But, Pramod Mutalik is always on the headlines by his threat to organise agitation on issues like conversion, cow slaughter, terrorism and on occasions like Valentine's Day.
